Our Story

Celebrating “life as it should be” during a trip to Mexico in 2018 with family and friends, Nick and John were inspired to embark on a new adventure and create their own tequila brand. In the spirit of the property they were staying in and the enjoyment of spending time with family and friends, the idea quickly turned into a tangible venture with a name: Villa One.

 

Our Product

Villa One is made at our own craft distillery, Fabrica de Tequilas Finos in Jalisco, using traditional techniques and natural ingredients. We slow-cook our agave, double-distill in traditional copper pots and use fresh water drawn from our own artesian well on the property.

Unlike most other tequilas, Villa One sources 100% blue weber agave from both the Highland and Lowland regions of Jalisco, Mexico. This unique combination of agave flavors combines herbaceous, earthy Lowland notes with the sweeter, fruity notes of Highland agave, resulting in a distinct, rounded profile.

Villa One is created by Master Distiller Arturo Fuentes, the “Godfather of Tequila,” who has three decades of experience in crafting Fine Cognacs, French Champagne and of course, barrel-aged Tequilas.

Silver

Villa One Silver is a clear liquid with silver shades that is bottled immediately on production to deliver a nose of cooked agave with fruit aromas. It features a continuous bouquet of dried fruit and nuts that meanders into a caramelized agave and has a long, smooth finish.

Reposado

Villa One Reposado is a light gold liquid aged in American oak barrels for six months. It produces bronze aromas with caramel and candy and boasts full, balanced butterscotch, chocolate and smoke flavors before delivering a light finish with notes of coffee, caramel and mellowed spice.

Añejo

Villa One Anejo is aged for more than twelve months in American oak barrels resulting in a dark amber color with notes of rich caramel, wood, vanilla, wafer banana on the nose.  It has a full-bodied mouthfeel and gives a rich and long-lasting finish with notes of smoke, dark chocolate and honey.
